Copy Certificate Ordering Process
PLEASE NOTE:
- We can only issue copy certificates for events that occurred within Warwickshire. If the event did not take place within Warwickshire, please contact the register office for the area. Details can be found at Gov.uk
- Register Offices only hold records of births, deaths and marriages from 1st July 1837.
- If you wish to research records earlier than this date you will need to contact the Warwickshire County Record Office
- The cost per copy certificate is £11.00.
If you wish to purchase an adoption or still birth certificate please contact the General Register Office on 0300 123 1837.
If you have very little or no details regarding a registration, you can contact the General Register Office who can undertake a more in-depth search for all districts within England and Wales.
Terms and conditions
By Ticking below and continuing you are confirming that:
- you authorise us to start work on your certificate request immediately and within the 14 day cooling off period;
- you agree to pay costs for any work carried out, this includes payment for any searches where the birth, death, marriage or civil partnership did not take place in the Warwickshire Registration District;
- you have checked with the church or place of worship in Warwickshire where you were married and they confirm that the register containing your marriage or marriage schedule document has been handed over to a Warwickshire Register Office. As all registers or marriage schedule documents are being returned to the Register Office there may be a delay in us being able to produce your certificate. Once the register or marriage schedule document is in our possession we will fulfill your order.
- Warwickshire Registration Service accept no liability for loss, damage or failure of delivery and, therefore, no refund or replacements will be provided.
