Copy Certificate Ordering Process
PLEASE NOTE:
- We can only issue copy certificates for events that occurred within Warwickshire. We do not hold records for events which occurred within Coventry. If the event did not take place within Warwickshire, please contact the register office for the area. Details can be found at Gov.uk
- Register Offices only hold records of births, deaths and marriages from 1st July 1837.
- If you wish to research records earlier than this date you will need to contact the Warwickshire County Record Office
- The standard cost per copy certificate is £12.50 and will be processed within 14 days and posted 2nd class.
- Express certificate orders cost £38.50 per copy. Orders submitted before 12noon will be processed and posted 1st class, orders submitted after 12noon will be processed and posted 1st class the next working day (excluding weekends).

If you have very little or no details regarding a registration, you can contact the General Register Office who can undertake a more in-depth search for all districts within England and Wales.
Terms and conditions
By ticking the box at the bottom of this page you are confirming that:
- you authorise us to start work on your certificate request immediately;
- you agree to pay costs for any work carried out, this includes payment for any searches where the birth, death, marriage or civil partnership did not take place in the Warwickshire Registration District;
- you have checked with the church in Warwickshire where you were married and they confirm that the marriage document has been delivered to a Warwickshire Register Office. Once the marriage document is in our possession we will fulfill your order.
- Warwickshire Registration Service accept no liability for loss, damage or failure of delivery and, therefore, no refund or replacements will be provided.
